Tanaka	:	Itakatta deshoo. Daijoobu desu ka?
Smith	:	Ee, daijoobu da to omoimasu ga..., migi-ashi ga mada itai-n desu.
Tanaka	:	Hone ga orete iru kamo shiremasen yo.
Smith	:	Hone wa orete inai to omoimasu. Moshi hone ga orete itara, arukenai deshoo.
Tanaka	:	Demo, nen no tame, byooin ni itta hoo ga ii desu yo.
Smith	:	Soo desu ne. Byooin wa moo aiteiru deshoo ka?
Tanaka	:	9-ji da kara, moo aiteiru deshoo. Hayaku itta hoo ga ii desu yo.
Smith	:	Ja, chotto itte kimasu.

Tanaka	:	What happened?
Smith	:	On my way to work, I fell from the stairs at the station.
Tanaka	:	It must have hurt. Are you okay?
Smith	:	Yes, I think I'm okay, but ...my right leg still hurts.
Tanaka	:	You might have broken your leg (lit. bone).

Greg	:	Soo desu ka.
Satoo	:	Isogu-n desu ka?
Greg	:	Ee.
Satoo	:	Ja, konbini de kopii shitara, doo desu ka?
Greg	:	Konbini ni kopii ga aru deshoo ka?
Satoo	:	Aru deshoo. Ookii mise desu kara.
Greg	:	Ja, chotto itte kimasu.

Greg	:	This copier, is it broken?
Satoo	:	Yes, it is. But I called the manufacturer so the service person should be coming.
Greg	:	Around what time will he come?
Satoo	:	He should be coming in any minute. He said he's coming at once.
