Step 7

次は友達や同僚に明日どこに行くか聞いて見ましょう。
目的地を表す場所の言葉を「どこ」に置き換えて文の最後に「か」を付けるだけです。

にちようび   どこ   いきますか

(あなたは) にちようび どこに いきますか。

Where are you going on Sunday?

はこね   いきます

(わたしは) はこねに いきます。

I'm going to Hakone (on Sunday).

Grammar Notes

Nichi-yoobi means "Sunday".
The phrases such as "last Sunday" and "next Monday" are expressed by using the particle no.

Doko means "where".

Remember, when the subject is "You" or "I", it is usually omitted.

When asking about the past action, just change ikimasu ka? to ikimashita ka?.
