Lesson 7
Type short sentence in Hiragana and Katakana - Particles "WA" & "O"
Particle wa & o
は HA is used as a particle WA.
を WO is used as a particle O.
へ HE is used as a particle E.
There is no space between word and word in the ordinary Japanese sentence,
but you should put a space when you write a sentence without Kanji.
Our materials use に as a direction marker instead of へ.
A full stop "." is "。". It is called "maru".
Particle は
これは　じしょです。 (Kore wa jisho desu.)
こ れ は   じ しょ で す 。
KO RE HA   JI SHO DE SU .
1. Type K O R E H A これは is displayed. It is underlined.
2. Enter key   これは is typed in.
3. Input a space
4. Type J I S H O D E S U . じしょです。 is displayed. It is underlined.
5. Enter key   じしょです。 is typed in.
これは　コーヒーです。 (Kore wa koohii desu.)
こ れ は   コ ー ヒ ー で す 。
KO RE HA   KO - HI - DE SU .
1. Type K O R E H A これは is displayed. It is underlined.
2. Enter key   これは is typed in.
3. Input a space
4. Type KO-HI- こーひー is displayed. It is underlined.
5. Space key / F7   こーひー is converted into コーヒー.
  (You don't need to press Enter, here. You can continue to type after conversion.)
6. Type D E S U . コーヒー is typed in and です。 is displayed. It is underlined.
7. Enter key   です。 is typed in.
わたしは　カナダじんです。 (Watashi wa Kanada-jin desu.)
わ た し は   カ ナ ダ じ ん で す 。
WA TA SHI HA   KA NA DA JI NN DE SU .
1. Type W A T A S H I H A わたしは is displayed. It is underlined.
2. Enter key   わたしは is typed in.
3. Input a space
4. Type K A N A D A かなだ is displayed. It is underlined.
5. Space key / F7   かなだ is converted into カナダ.
  (You don't need to press Enter, here. You can continue to type after conversion.)
6. Type J I N N D E S U . カナダ is typed in and じんです。 is displayed. It is underlined.
7. Enter key   じんです。 is typed in.
こんにちわこんにちは
WA in Konnichiwa is originally a particle.
So, it is not わ but は.
こんにちは。 (Konnichiwa.)
こ ん に ち は 。
KO NN NI CHI HA .
1. Type K O N N N I C H I H A . こんにちは。 is displayed. It is underlined.
2. Enter key   こんにちは。 is typed in.
Particle を
ほんを　よみます。 (Hon o yomimasu.)
ほ ん を   よ み ま す 。
HO NN WO   YO MI MA SU .
1. Type H O N N W O ほんを is displayed. It is underlined.
2. Enter key   ほんを is typed in.
3. Input a space
4. Type Y O M I M A S U . よみます。 is displayed. It is underlined.
5. Enter key   よみます。 is typed in.
テレビを　みます。 (Koohii o nomimasu.)
テ レ ビ を   み ま す 。
TE RE BI WO   MI MA SU .
1. Type T E R E B I W O てれびを is displayed. It is underlined.
2. Space key / F7   てれびを is converted into テレビを.
3. Enter key   テレビを is typed in.
4. Input a space
  (In ordinary Japanese sentence, there is no space. You can skip 3, 4, and continue to type in.)
5. Type M I M A S U . みます。 is displayed. It is underlined.
6. Enter key   みます。 is typed in.
サラダを　たべます。 (Sarada o tabemasu.)
サ ラ ダ を   た べ ま す 。
SA RA DA WO   TA BE MA SU .
1. Type S A R A D A W O さらだを is displayed. It is underlined.
2. Space key / F7   さらだを is converted into サラダを.
3. Enter key   サラダを is typed in.
4. Input a space
  (In ordinary Japanese sentence, there is no space. You can skip 3, 4, and continue to type in.)
5. Type T A B E M A S U . たべます。 is displayed. It is underlined.
6. Enter key   たべます。 is typed in.
