Practice Each Sentence

1. Shuu no zenhan wa amari tenki ga yokunai desu.

shuu week, zenhan the first half, amari (+ negative) not very, not much, not so
tenki weather, yokunai nai form of ii; not good

2. Getsu-yoobi wa Kumori.

getsu-yoobi Monday, kumori cloudy weather

3. Sui-yoobi wa Ame ga furu deshoo.

sui-yoobi Wednesday, ame ga furimasu to rain
ame rain, furu root form of furimasu; fall (rain, snow)
-deshoo expressing conjecture; should be, must be

4. Koohan wa ii tenki ni narimasu.

koohan the latter half, ii tenki nice weather, fine day, beautiful day
ii good, nice, fine, tenki weather, -ni narimasu to become, come to, it will be

5. Kion ga agatte, atatakaku naru deshoo.

kion (air) temperature, agatte te form of agarimasu; go up, rise
atatakaku ku form of atatakai; warm, -ku narimasu to become, come to, it will be

6. Saikoo-kion wa 12-do kara 20-do.

saikoo-kion the highest temperature, saikoo the highest, maximum
kion (air) temperature, -do degrees (celsius), -kara from

7. Saitei-kion wa 4-do kara 11-do gurai.
