Susan is going to Haneda Airport by taxi.

Susan:Haneda kuukoo onegai shimasu.
Untenshu:Hai.
Susan:Donogurai kakarimasu ka?
Untenshu:Soo desu ne .... 20-pun gurai desu.
Susan:Haneda Airport, please.
Driver:Yes, certainly.
Susan:How long will it take?
Driver:Let me think... about 20 minutes.

Dialogue 2

Susan is going to the ABC Hotel.

Susan:ABC Hoteru, wakarimasu ka?
Untenshu:Saa .... Donohen desu ka?
Susan:Roppongi no eki no chikaku desu.
Untenshu:Hai. Wakarimashita.
Susan:Do you know the ABC Hotel?
Driver:Not sure... where about is it?
Susan:It's near Roppongi Station.
Driver:Yes, I've got it.

Giving a taxi driver instructions

Susan:Tsugi no shingoo, migi ni onegai shimasu.
Untenshu:Hai.
Susan:Sono kado, hidari ni onegai shimasu.
Untenshu:Hai.
Susan:Ano apaato no mae de ii desu.
Untenshu:Hai.
Susan:Turn right at the next traffic lights, please.
Driver:OK.
Susan:Turn left at that corner, please.
Driver:OK.
Susan:In front of that apartment will do, thanks.
Driver:OK.

Dialogue 4

Giving a taxi driver instructions

Susan:Koko o massugu itte kudasai.
Untenshu:Hai.
Susan:Sono kado o hidari ni magatte kudasai.
Untenshu:Hai.
Susan:Tsugi no shingoo o migi ni magatte, sugu hidari ni onegai shimasu.
Untenshu:Tsugi o migi desu ne.
Susan:Hai, soo desu.
The taxi turned right at the traffic lights.
Susan:Soko, hidari.
Untenshu:Hai.
Susan:Ano konbini no mae de tomete kudasai.
Untenshu:Hai. Wakarimashita.
Susan:Go straight along this street, please.
Driver:OK.
Susan:Turn left at that corner, please.
Driver:OK.
Susan:Turn right at the next traffic lights and immediately left, please
Driver:Right at the next traffic lights?
Susan:That's right.
The taxi turned right at the traffic lights.
Susan:Left there.
Driver:Yes.
Susan:Pull over in front of that convenience store, please.
Driver:Yes, certainly.
